What is an integrated management system?
All the procedures of each department are set out in an operational structure within a handbook. This includes quality management, occupational safety and environmental protection areas, which form a single unit.
The IMS is reviewed annually by an external, accredited certification body.
Many customers require, for example, proof of SCC certification, whereby the whole area of occupational safety is checked. We meet the requirements of the new DIN standard EN 9000:2000. Ongoing reviews make it possible to fully realise potential for improvement.
We ascribe great worth to continuity
- during the monthly instruction of our employees,
- during monthly inspections, e.g. by our managers,
- during the occupational medical examination,
- during the inspection of all equipment and tools.
Our accident figures are below the national scaffolding average. Nevertheless, further measures are constantly being developed to reduce and prevent accidents.
The appeal to our staff is this: go about things in a considered, prudent and safety-conscious manner, because every accident is preventable!
